The Installation Technician-II will work the other installation techs to learn the proper execution of all required install techniques.
The Installation Technician-II must maintain at least 90% of total work time billable to projects.
Daily time entries into computer timekeeping system as required.
Assists in maintaining installation equipment & tools, including maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles and installation supplies inventory.
Responsible for maintaining required electrical licenses, and maintaining current, up-to-date information regarding developments in the Audio/Visual industry.
Responsible for attending required classes for apprenticeship program
Qualifications:
Successful candidates 3 years or more of verifiable commercial AV installation experience. Candidate experience will be validated by their peers and approved by management before promotions are to take effect.
Candidates shall have completed the following trainings and/or certifications:
AMX and/or Crestron Experience
Hilti Gun Certified
Intro to networking for AV professionals online class by AMX
Journeyman Limited Energy license
Must be able to pass a drug screen and/or background check.
